Bemerkungen	Obligatorisches Verfassungsreferendum nach Art. 47 der Verfassung. Die Änderung tritt am 7.10.1983 in Kraft. Art. 40 Abs. 3 Ziffer 3 (neu): "The State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and, with due regard to the equal right of life of the mother, guarantees in its laws to respect and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend and vindicate that right."
